Automatically organising hosts by subnet using SCCM 2012

If you want to organise your machines according to subnet (for instance you have a different subnet for each location) then you can set the following membership query rule. If you set it as an incremental rule, it will automatically add and remove hosts as they are added and removed from the subnet.

select SMS_R_SYSTEM.ResourceID,SMS_R_SYSTEM.ResourceType,SMS_R_SYSTEM.Name,SMS_R_SYSTEM.SMSUniqueIdentifier,SMS_R_SYSTEM.ResourceDomainORWorkgroup,SMS_R_SYSTEM.Client from SMS_R_System where SMS_R_System.IPSubnets = "192.168.1.0"

Replace 192.168.1.0 with the network ID that you want to use for the collection.
